Lisa had a very good week.

She has been feeling very good this week, getting stronger each day and really enjoying starting to feel like herself again, praise God.

The Christmas holiday season is here and we are feeling the joy as a family that we get from celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The girls are now off from school for a few weeks and Lisa is looking forward to being home and spending time with them.

We started the season by attending a Point of Grace concert at our church this past Friday night. What a great way to get into the holiday spirit! From there we had a whirlwind weekend, celebrating my father’s birthday on Saturday, Lisa attending what I understand was a lovely Mary Kay Star Party graciously hosted by Joanie Bain Saturday night, Church on Sunday morning and a Christmas celebration at Lisa’s mom’s house on Sunday night. We love being with family at this time of year and it was great to see Lisa’s brother, sister and all their families. This is probably as active as Lisa has been in the past four months, but she absolutely loved every minute (and is sleeping quite soundly now as I write this).

Please continue to pray for Lisa that she would gain strength, that she would stay free from illness and infection, that she would keep her great attitude and that the cancer has been completely removed from her body never to return.

My prayer for all of you this Christmas season is that you may spend cherished time with family and truly understand that we celebrate because of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the gift of salvation that he gave to us.
